Meet the Team
Beth Taylor - Stubbs
Approaching the big 4-0, Beth, a chartered surveyor for many years, decided in the middle of a global pandemic it was time for a career change...it was time to turn her passion into a new life for her, Hattie and Crumpet.
Cornish born and bred, Beth has always loved to be outdoors and from an early age was found covered in mud. She is a passionate gardener and The Flower Hut started from her large garden before she decided to turn part of their one acre field into an all bells and whistles flower farm.
Beth has lived just outside the wonderful village of Stithians for over 15 years and now lives in her converted lambing shed and is lucky enough to be able to see the flower farm from her kitchen window.
The wonder of turning a packet of seeds into bucketful's of blooms in only a short months and then delivering flowers and seeing the receivers face light up gives Beth huge joy and in her view that is what life should be all about.
Introducing my Business Partner....
Hello, I am the flower fairy aka Hattie Rose! Mummy has asked me to write about myself so here goes...
I am 7 years old and love flowers and fairies. One of my favourite things is flowers and I love helping Mummy sow seeds and pick flowers. I love seeing the bumble bees and butterflies that visit our flowers.
Roses are my favourite flower because I am called Hattie Rose and I love the smell of them.
I am very excited about delivering you flowers with Mummy, it is a pleasure to see the happy faces, although sometimes I get wet if holding the flowers on deliveries!!
I have to go now as we have flowers to deliver! Bye, bye, Hatttie x
& finally, meet Crumpet!
Crumpet, the Cockerpoo, is part of the welcoming committee at The Flower Hut.
Not always the most helpful on the farm as she tends to dig holes in the wrong places but she is very much still part of the team.
She is often found snoozing in the sunshine amongst the flowers...it's a dog's life!
